    • Diabetes Prevention Education, Health screenings, Diabetes Awareness Fun Walks, Client Home-Visits, Health Fairs

  • Community Group Education

    • Health Food Demonstrations, Low-Impact Exercise Classes, Nutrition Education

  • Evaluation/Quality Improvement

    • Facilitate efforts to improve access to quality diabetic care

  • Physical Exercise Equipment

    • Provide access to physical exercise equipment for community members

What is Type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 Diabetes happens when the body has trouble using insulin it makes or when the body does not make enough of it. About 90 percent of people with diabetes have Type 2.
